Our Story: Freedom From Chains
We’re Angela and Bobby — two people who know what it’s like to be broken, bound, and searching for hope. We’ve both walked through dark seasons: addiction, incarceration, trauma, shame, and loss. But we’ve also experienced something greater — the redeeming love of Jesus Christ that broke every chain holding us back.
Freedom From Chains Recovery Ministries was born from our testimonies and our desire to help others find the same freedom we’ve found. In our lowest moments, behind locked doors and broken choices, God met us. He didn’t just rescue us — He gave us purpose. Today, we’re walking in that purpose together, helping others rise from the ashes and step into healing, identity, and a future.
This ministry is our way of reaching back for those still in the struggle — to remind you that you’re not alone, and you are not forgotten. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, freedom is possible through Jesus.
We’re here to walk with you — one day at a time — toward healing, wholeness, and purpose.

Our history
We met during one of the hardest seasons of our lives — both of us battling our own demons, carrying the weight of past trauma, addiction, and regret. We were broken in different ways, still running from the pain we didn’t know how to face. But even in the middle of the mess, we saw something in each other: a spark of hope, a quiet strength, and a sense that maybe… we were meant to walk this road together.
What we didn’t know then was why God brought us together — but now, we see it clearly.
God wasn’t just bringing two people together for healing — He was writing a greater story. A story of redemption, restoration, and purpose. As He began to heal us from the inside out, He also opened our eyes to the countless others still stuck in the chains we once wore. He gave us a calling: to use our pain for purpose and to help others like us find healing, freedom, and a new beginning through Jesus.
That’s why we started Freedom From Chains Recovery Ministries — not because we had all the answers, but because we understand the struggle. We've lived it. And we know what it’s like to feel forgotten, ashamed, or too far gone. But we’re here to tell you: no one is beyond God’s reach, and no story is too broken for Him to redeem.
Today, God is using our lives to speak life into others. Through this ministry, we share devotionals, testimonies, spiritual encouragement, and practical support for those on the journey to freedom. We exist to be a voice of hope, a light in dark places, and living proof that your past doesn’t disqualify you — it prepares you for purpose.
