History of Freedom on the Water

Freedom on the Water was born out of a desire to bring healing, joy, and a sense of peace to those walking through recovery, hardship, or transition. It started with a simple idea: give people a break from their burdens—just for an hour—out on the water. That one hour of freedom can change everything.

What began as a single Jet Ski ride for someone in recovery has grown into a powerful outreach ministry through Freedom from Chains Recovery. We saw firsthand how God used the experience to open hearts, release tears, and restore hope. From that moment on, we knew this wasn’t just recreation—it was restoration.

Each ride is a chance for someone to feel alive again, to reconnect with their faith, and to believe in new beginnings. For many, it’s their first taste of freedom after years of addiction, trauma, incarceration, or loss. And we’re just getting started.

How It Works

💧 $75 per hour, per Jet Ski
⏱ Most people ride 2 hours ($150 total)
💵 A $100 deposit is required per Jet Ski (for damages—refundable if returned in good condition)

⚠️ Important: If you were born in 1993 or later, Texas law requires you to complete a Boater Safety Course before operating a Jet Ski. It’s quick, affordable, and protects everyone on the water.
